HOW DO WE INQUIRE AND GET STARTED?

It really varies... like really!

I’ve booked weddings last-minute and I’ve booked over a year out. That said, most of my couples land somewhere around 6–12 months in advance. If you’re wanting engagement photos, a slower planning pace, or just options… earlier is always better. If you’re late to the party? Still reach out. I’ve pulled off magic before! ✨ 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

Yes — and not in a stiff, over-structured way.

I help you build a timeline that actually protects your experience, not just the photos. Enough space to breathe, enough structure to keep things moving, and intention behind the moments that matter most to you.

We start with a loose plan and refine it as your day comes together so nothing feels rushed or chaotic. I also send a fun little canva welcome guide, timeline and some other little perks along the way as your wedding day gets closer!

DO YOU HELP WITH TIMELINE PLANNING?

Honestly? Someone you feel safe with.

You’re spending your entire wedding day with this person — in quiet moments, chaotic moments, emotional ones sometimes even naked moments (literally)… all of it. If you don’t feel comfortable being fully yourself around them, it’s going to show.

Beyond style, look for:

Weddings take a lot creatively, emotionally, and physically. I keep my calendar intentionally limited so I can stay present, deliver consistently, and not burn out halfway through your gallery.

I don’t stack weddings just to stack them. When you book me, you’re getting my full energy, not what’s left of it. 🖤 

WHY DO YOU LIMIT HOW MANY WEDDINGS YOU TAKE?

Weddings are delivered within 6–10 weeks. Portrait sessions within 2 weeks. Everything is outlined clearly in your contract, so you’ll always know what to expect.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Yes — local wedding bookings include a complimentary engagement session! 

If you’d prefer additional wedding day coverage instead, you can swap the engagement session for an extra hour of photography.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

I do. Lifestyle family and maternity sessions are available throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Same candid approach. Same storytelling energy. Just a different season of life.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILIES OR MATERNITY?

No. What you receive is fully edited, cohesive, and intentional. Raw files are unfinished work — and that’s not what you’re hiring me for.

Cool. Perfect. You’re exactly who I work best with. You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s literally not your job. And if you’re picturing stiff prom poses and forced smiles… yeah, no. We’re not doing that.

I don’t pose people — I guide. We talk, we move, I give you direction that actually feels like you, and then I let things happen. The good stuff lives in the in-between anyway — the laughs, the quiet touches, the “wait, don’t move” moments. By the end of it, most of my couples say the same thing:
“I forgot the camera was even there.”

You’re not here to perform. You’re here to exist with your person. I’ll take care of the rest.

WHAT IF WE FEEL AWKWARD OR UNCOMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?

I shoot a mix of documentary, candid, and editorial.

Translation: I’m not interrupting your day every five minutes, but I will step in when it actually matters.

Most of your day is captured exactly as it happens — real reactions, real moments, nothing forced. When it’s time for portraits or family photos, I guide you so you still look like yourselves… just a little more elevated than you already are!

I care way more about how your day feels than how perfectly it’s staged.

I’m constantly reading the room — knowing when to step in and direct, and when to back off and let a moment breathe. Nothing is forced, nothing is overdone. The end result? A gallery that feels like you were actually there. Emotional, honest, a little cinematic, and still polished enough to frame the hell out of.

Documentary means I’m capturing what’s actually happening — not recreating it for the camera. The laughs, the chaos, the quiet moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Editorial comes into play during portraits or slower parts of the day — where I can use light, composition, and a little direction to create something that feels elevated without losing who you are.

No “okay now laugh” energy.

Candid is real reactions — your people crying during your vows, your best friend losing it on the dance floor, your partner looking at you like that.

Because you deserve to actually experience your wedding day.

Not spend it being posed, redirected, and pulled away from every moment.

I document what you saw and what you missed — so when you look back, it feels full. Not staged. Not performative. Just real.

Most of my couples have never been professionally photographed before. You’re not expected to show up knowing what to do.

A lot of people search by location or type of wedding… but here’s the real answer: If it matters to you, I’ll shoot it. Period.

I’m based in Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas — but I’m not glued to it. ✈️ 

I photograph weddings all over Texas, travel across the U.S., and take on destination weddings when the vibe is right. Big city, middle-of-nowhere desert, courthouse downtown… I’m there.

what's included in travel costs?

Yes. Pack the bags, cue the playlist, let’s go. 🌎 

I travel for weddings, elopements, and sessions — whether that’s across Texas or across the country.

do you travel?

No weird nickel-and-diming over here.

Travel is typically built into your custom collection, so you’re not getting surprise invoices for flights or hotels later. Everything is upfront, clean, and clear.

What's included in travel costs?

Anywhere that actually means something to you.

Your venue, a courthouse, your house, a random gas station at sunset, the middle of a field, downtown streets, your favorite bar… I’ve done all of it.

If it feels like you, it’ll photograph like you.

Where can we take our photos?

Yes — and I love them!!! 

Small, intentional, no chaos, just you two doing your thing? Say less.

Weekday elopements, courthouse ceremonies, non-traditional setups — all very much my lane.

Do you shoot courthouse weddings & elopements?

I am ordained, so yes — I can legally sign your marriage license for courthouse or private elopements.

Photographer + officiant energy? Efficient and iconic! 

Can you officiate our ceremony?

If your pet isn’t there, I’m honestly realllyyyy offended.

Bring them. Dress them up. Let them steal the show. They’re part of your story and they will be treated like VIPs.

Can we bring our pets?

Let’s talk about the “what if everything goes sideways?” — because honestly, this is where a real professional shows up.

Pretty galleries are cute. Having a plan when life does its thing? That’s what actually matters.

Wedding Day Logistics

Life happens. Weddings shift. Families, finances, chaos… I get it.

If something changes, tell me as soon as you can and we’ll walk through it together. I’m as flexible as I can be without screwing over my calendar — both things can exist at the same time.

If I have your new date available, we move everything over and keep it pushing.

Your contract has all the official details (yes, read it babe), but bottom line: I’m here to work with you, not against you.

what if i need to reschedule or cancel?

Then we pivot.

Texas weather loves a plot twist — wind, rain, surprise heat waves, all of it. I plan for flexibility from the start, so nothing feels like a crisis when it inevitably does something dramatic.

what if the weather is bad?

⚡️ Rain is not the enemy.

Cloudy skies = soft, dreamy light. Rainy photos = romantic as hell if you lean into it.

We adjust, we get creative, and honestly… some of my favorite galleries have come out of “bad” weather days.

what if it rains?

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE’S AN EMERGENCY?

Here’s the part I don’t play about:

I’ve shot weddings through just about everything — timeline disasters, location changes, unexpected chaos, gear acting up mid-day… and I’ve never missed a wedding. Not once.

Not because nothing ever goes wrong — but because I run my business like something might.

If something wild happens, you’re not left scrambling. There is always a plan already in place.

What if there's an emergency?

Valid question — and one a lot of people are scared to ask.

If I were ever physically unable to be there (which would take a lot), I have a network of experienced photographers who can step in.

Not randoms. Not last-minute panic hires.

What if you (the photographer) get sick?

Yes — 99.9% of the time, it’s me.

But I’m also not going to pretend emergencies don’t exist. If something truly unavoidable happened, you are still fully covered. No gaps, no stress.

will you be my photographer?

Yes. Fully insured, always.

(Your venue will love me for that.)

Are you insured?

It won’t take me out.

I show up with multiple camera bodies, lenses, flashes, batteries, and more memory cards than I’ll ever need. If something dies, I swap and keep going. You won’t even notice.

What if your gear fails?

Your contract guarantees one year of storage.

That said… I’m not in the business of deleting your memories. I keep archives much longer whenever possible. If you ever lose your photos, reach out — I’ll always try to recover them for you.

If something comes up, just tell me as soon as you can and we’ll find a new date that works. No stress, no drama.

Now… Texas weather? Unpredictable little menace.

So if we’re shooting outdoors (which we usually are), I already plan with flexibility in mind. If the forecast starts acting up, we pivot. Sometimes I’ll even build in a backup date from the start so we’re not scrambling.

Bottom line: we protect your experience and your photos. You’re not out here fighting the weather alone.
